Amerakin Overdose is a genre-bending, mask-adorned industrial/nu-metal force rising out of Portland, Oregon. Renowned for their explosive live energy and visually immersive personas, the band delivers a relentless sonic assault built on crushing riffs, groove-driven rhythms, electronic textures, and powerful vocal dynamics. Drawing from influences like Korn, Slipknot, and Mudvayne, Amerakin Overdose transforms the chaos, corruption, and excess of modern culture into a theatrical, high-impact experience—each member embodying a character warped by vanity, greed, and societal decay.

Since their inception, Amerakin Overdose has released three full-length albums and established themselves as a must-see act, touring extensively across the United States. Their resume includes sharing stages with heavy hitters such as Korn, Godsmack, Disturbed, Five Finger Death Punch, Chevelle, Shinedown, Lacuna Coil, Avatar, All That Remains, and Slaughter to Prevail. The band has also earned spots at major festivals including Rock Fest (Cadott, WI), Vans Warped Tour, The Gathering of the Juggalos, and Jamey Jasta’s Milwaukee Metalfest.

Their distinctive blend of metal, industrial, and performance art has attracted coverage from major media outlets such as Revolver, Alternative Press, Loudwire, Knotfest, and The PRP, solidifying their standing as a formidable presence in modern heavy music.

 

In July 2024, Amerakin Overdose released their highly anticipated third album, Artificial Infection, a record that pushed their sound into darker, more experimental territory. The band has since teamed up with Jonny Santos (Spineshank/Silent Civilian), who is producing their new album. March 2025 marked the release of their bold, genre-twisting cover and video for Christina Aguilera’s “Genie in a Bottle,” followed by the crushing single “Point of No Return” in May and “Nothing (Without You)” featuring Jonny Santos in July.

 

Evolving with every release and pushing their vision further into the extreme, Amerakin Overdose continues to innovate, provoke, and challenge the boundaries of modern metal.
