Amerakin Overdose is a genre-defying masked industrial/nu-metal powerhouse hailing from Portland, Oregon. Known for their high-intensity performances and visually striking personas, the band delivers a hard-hitting sonic experience that fuses crushing guitar riffs, groove-laden beats, electronic synths, and harmonized vocals. Drawing inspiration from heavyweights like Korn, Slipknot, and Mudvayne, Amerakin Overdose channels the chaos and corruption of modern society through a theatrical lens, embodying characters twisted by greed, vanity, and cultural decay.
Since their formation, Amerakin Overdose has released three full-length albums and built a reputation as a must-see live act, touring extensively across the United States. They have shared stages with some of the biggest names in rock and metal, including Korn, Godsmack, Disturbed, Five Finger Death Punch, Chevelle, Shinedown, Lacuna Coil, Avatar, All That Remains, and Slaughter to Prevail. Their festival appearances include high-profile slots at Rock Fest (Cadott, WI), Warped Tour, The Gathering of the Juggalos, and Milwaukee Metalfest, curated by Jamey Jasta of Hatebreed.
The band’s distinctive sound and immersive live shows have garnered media attention from major outlets such as Revolver, Alternative Press, Loudwire, Knotfest, and The PRP, solidifying their place in the modern metal landscape.
In July 2024, Amerakin Overdose unleashed their highly anticipated third album, “Artificial Infection”, pushing their sonic boundaries even further.
Most recently, the band started working with Jonny santos (Spineshank, Silent Civilian) who is producing their new album. in March 2025, the band released a bold, genre-bending cover of Christina Aguilera’s “Genie In A Bottle,” marking a new creative chapter. With new singles and videos slated for release throughout 2025, Amerakin Overdose continues to evolve, innovate, and challenge the conventions of modern heavy music.
